This is a rather loose collection of friends and acquaintances, an informal group of people who have been members of the Cambridge University Hillwalking Club and want to stay in touch.
Mostly former members of the Cambridge University Hillwalking Club who get together to walk, climb or fester in the pub, on a semi-regular basis - Often associated as guests on a CUHWC Trip, or on separate trips.
Anyone who was, is, or knows a current member can come along; we hope there will be no barriers to trips being as big as the undergrad meets. We don't intend to book any accommodation, but will help to find transport for people if possible.
Any suggestions for trip are welcome. So far, there have been trips to the Lakes, Wales, Yorkshire, Skye, the Cheviots, Brecon Beacons, Galloway, Arran, Howgill Fells, and more. To find out more read the Trip Reports.
There is a mailing list for the Old Duffers. If you want to be on this mailing list, contact the Old Duffers' list manager stating which years you were a member. We recommend that you subscribe with a fairly permanent email address (such as provided by the Cantab.net email forwarding service for Cambridge alumni) if possible, so you don't have to keep updating as you move.
