Garden Party and Overnight Punting

Hello everyone,

hope you are all managing to maintain some form of social life and not doing too much work. I'm sure the excitement of May Week hillwalking activities will keep you going. It's only 5 and a half weeks away...!

So:

GARDEN PARTY will take place in the gardens of Newnham College on Saturday 12th June, from 3-6pm. There will be lots and lots of food, drink and good company and hopefully lovely sunny weather. The cost is £8 and includes all the food you can eat (and probably more). This will be closely followed by:

OVERNIGHT PUNTING & BARBEQUE: on the evening of Saturday 12th June. There's no definite start time at the moment but it'll be soon after the Garden Party finishes, so some time around 6pm. We'll punt to Grantchester, find a field and have a barbeque (because obviously everyone will be hungry again by then). Lots of fun, eating, drinking and probably singing later, we'll punt back in the dark. All of this excitement comes for the bargain price of £12. We'll even bring MARSHMALLOWS so we can sit and cook them on sticks :)

That's a potential 18 HOURS of unbeatable May Week entertainment for just £20. If you'd like to come to either or both events then please email back with any dietary requirements and get a cheque to us as soon as possible. We need to pay for the punts in advance so please reply by SATURDAY 22nd MAY. In fact, do it now before you forget.
