Event Description:
Come and find out what CUHWC is all about! This trip is open to anyone who isn't already a member, not just freshers - and you don't have to join to come along. We're going to Edale in the Dark Peak, offering access to the Lose Hill-Mam Tor ridge as well as the wilder landscapes of Kinder Scout - and about as far as you can get in a day from Cambridge! There will be a selection of walks of varying length, catering for all abilities and tastes. The only gear you'll need is sensible walking clothes (including waterproofs), boots (though if you don't have them there will be one walk that is possible to do in trainers), and a packed lunch. The coach will leave from the Silver Street end of Queen's Road at 7am, and we'll be back by 11pm.
