• Who's who in the Club? Find out the silly things people have said - and things they'll never say.
• Random conversations overheard.
• Nigel Whiteoak's Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fellows has some excellent drawings (of people who've now left).
• When Matt Bramley left Cambridge in 1991 to do a post-doc in Montreal, he wrote up his memoirs as "Some Recollections of an Addict" - a very evocative account of a couple of big trips in the Scottish Highlands.
• James Blake wrote a questionnaire to determine what sort of walker you are. Peter Bell's variation on this theme is "What Type of Club Member Are You?". More analysis of hillwalkers is in Rob McQueen's Observations of a Faffologist.
• Dave Harrington's corny account of a musical day on the 1993 Easter Lakes trip will make you groan.
• Jane Strange wrote a Guide to Safe Driving after she crashed Tim's car.
• Paul Cook's guide on how to save a fortune on waterproof hillwalking gear should not be mistaken for good advice.
• Paul Palfreyman wrote explaining why you shouldn't go rock-climbing on Club trips after an epic on Cadair Idris, but someone more reckless claims that climbing is better than girlfriends.
• Jane Bryden contributed a Club poem as an introduction for new members. Later, she presented a poem about the deconstruction of hillwalkers' language to the Annual Dinner as she retired from being Meet Secretary.
• On Peter Bell's retirement from the post of President, he also composed a poem; it's called "No Epic for Lucia".
• Another presidential poem (this time an accession speech), from Michael Fordham: "The Alternative Constitution".
• The hillwalkers' lexicon contains explanations of phrases you may hear on the hill.
• To dine in style in the mountains, one needs to be invited to Formal Hill. Thomas Wright has made a start on a Club Cookbook by contributing a recipe for Chocolate Fridge Cake.
• Past presidents often never entirely disappear, but may linger on to proffer advice to successive committees.
